Youth Ministry

Volunteer Opportunities

All our adult volunteers must complete Safe Environments training and submit to a background check. Drivers or chaperones for a youth event away from the parish must be over 21 years old.

A youth ministry program like ours needs plenty of helping hands willing to do a variety of work. Our adults serve up refreshments, lead smalll group discussions, plan prayer services and liturgies, organize games, or work behind the scenes making phone calls and collating mailings. Some commit to one small event and some commit to overnight retreats or week-long mission trips. What are you comfortable with? What is God asking you to do?

Contact me to see how your talents can be used. And know that big or small--whether behind the scenes or in the trenches--you are making a difference in the lives of today's young people and tomorrow's adults.

Blessings,

Theresa Barrons
Youth Ministry Coordinator

CURRENT NEEDS:

HIGH SCHOOL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Hospitality coordinator (ongoing)
We are seeking an outgoing, self-motivated volunteer to commit to our monthly sessions on the third Sunday of every month; duties include welcoming the teens into the building as they arrive at 7:15 for thier sessions, coordinating hospitality at 8:15, and staying until cleanup is complete (8:45). This volunteer would earn credit toward their religious education tuition.
