Our source and summit of Christian life

Worship Commission - The Worship Commission promotes and strengthens the program of continuing liturgucal renewal.  It is also involved with liturgical celebrations and is called to be the liaison for relationships with other Christian and non-Christian churches and religious bodies.  Contact: Fr. Eucharistic Ministers - Fully initiated members of the community are invited to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass as well as to community members who are homebound or in hospitals or extended care facilities.  Formation sessions for new Eucharistic ministers are scheduled periodically and announced in the bulletin.  Assignments are on a rotating basis according to Mass preference or you may serve as a substitute minister as needed.

Lectors - Fully initiated members of the community are invited to proclaim the Word of God at Mass as well as at non-Eucharistic liturgies.  Lectors serve on a rotating schedule according to Mass preference.  Formation sessions for new lectors are scheduled periodically and announced in the bulletin.

Ushers - The ushers greet people as they arrive, assist in seating them, and provide aid during Mass.   They conduct collections and direct the flow of communicants and worshipers in processions.  They distribute information in the form of bulletins, booklets and oral communications.  They meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:00PM in the church basement.

Altar Servers - All parish youth, grades 5 and older, are invited to share in the parish liturgical ministries as altar servers.  Altar servers are scheduled on a rotating basis.  Training sessions are announced in the bulletin.

Sacristan - Fully initiated members share in the service of the Lord's table by preparing the church for liturgy.  This includes preparing the bread and wine, sacramentary and lectionary.  Saristans care for the vessels used during the liturgical rites.
