Religious Ed News 2nd and 8th graders: Please remember that next Sunday there is a special Mass that you will need to attend to receive scapulars. All parish 2nd graders should attend the 9:30AM Mass and all parish 8th graders should attend the 11:30AM Mass.

Interviews for 8th graders: All 8th graders should have received a Confirmation interview schedule in the mail. If you have not received yours, please contact the RE office. The first set of interviews will take place Saturday, January 19th. Please check your schedule to verify your specific date and time.

Religious Education Emergency Closings: Our policy is that when the East China school buses do not run due to poor weather conditions, or when St. Mary’s School is closed, we do NOT have religious ed classes. If the weather changes in the middle of the day, we follow these procedures:

We call schools and ask them to make an announcement. We attempt to call the radio stations to announce our closing. We call teachers and staff to inform them of the closing. We post signs on the door and have a message on the answering machine that indicates we have closed.
